This first Advisory Committees Meeting was an opportunity to remind all participants about the key role that Ministries of Finance should play to stimulate the climate transition.
Members of the Advisory committees call on Ministers of Finance to play their full part in planning, coordinating, evaluating, and financing the relevant economic policies. The members also welcome the C3A Program as a critical initiative to strengthen the role of Ministers of Finance in the transition.
The five-year roadmap of C3A and priorities for 2024 have been presented. Hence, C3A received advice from its Scientific Advisory committee on key strategic priorities for regional and thematic engagement as well as an expansion of the Knowledge Network.
